More people want to improve their mental health than lose weight in 2018 (Metro, 3 Jan 2017)

The journey starts here.

An article was published by the Metro newspaper recently. It reported that, “…according to a survey by online marketplace Bidvine, more people are interested in travelling, getting a promotion, improving their mental health and eating healthier, than in losing weight. The study questioned 1,500 members of the British public about their New Year resolutions”.

Many people suffer in silence with mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression so it is good to see that more people are talking about their mental wellbeing. Let’s hope this is the start of more open dialogue about mental health so that it becomes talked about just as we would talk about our physical health.
